Academic Programmes

To equip students with academic knowledge and practical experience and develop them in spiritual formation for pastoral ministry to serve God.

The College undertakes two academic programmes which are concurrently run so that the diploma programme is completed after 3 years with the addition of a fourth year to complete the Bachelor's programme. Both programmes consist of courses in the four main disciplines of Biblical studies, Ministerial studies, and Historical and Theological studies. Diploma in Theology (Level VI)
Bachelor of Theology
The Diploma in Theology VI qualifies graduates with theological knowledge and skills for the Pastoral and Teaching Ministry of the Church of the Nazarene in Samoa and abroad. Graduates will be spiritually able and theologically informed for the task of leading Church congregations in their Worship, Christian Education, Spiritual formation and Counseling. The Diploma in Theology also provides for graduates an opportunity to undertake further training and learning for the Bachelor of Theology Qualification
The Bachelor of Theology is designed for a more advanced level of scholarship in Theological Education. Graduates of this qualification are earmarked for teaching at our Theological College. This may entail further training for higher qualifications like Masters and Doctorates so that our candidates are better equipped to enhance and improve the quality and level of theological education in our college, and also in our communities.
